Admiral Nurses are specialist dementia nurses that provide one to one support, expert guidance and practical solutions to support families and people with dementia through the most complex of situations. Together we will devise strategies to help you cope with your unique situation. This could be from giving advice on improving family communication and relationships, managing symptoms such as sleep disturbance or improving your knowledge and skills around continence or mobility.
Honiton Admiral Nurse
Honiton Admiral Nurse is based at the Honiton Community Hospital and works Monday to Thursday. Referrals to the service are via the Honiton and Ottery Dementia & Frailty Team or another Health and Social Care professional with the Honiton area. Jo also visits the Honiton Memory Café and Carer Support Group most months
